A Home Protection Plan (also referred to as Home Service Contract or Home Warranty) is a service contract that covers the repair or replacement of many of the most frequently occurring breakdowns of home system components and major appliances.

How does a Home Protection Plan work?
When a covered item breaks down, we’ve made reporting a claim easy:
1. Refer to your Home Protection Plan or simply call the claims telephone number at (866) 386-2468.
2. A highly trained representative will arrange for a contractor to contact you to schedule your repair.
3. Our emergency claims service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and special efforts will be made to expedite these claims.
4. Remember to report your claim PRIOR to repair to be eligible for reimbursement.
5. Once repair or replacement is complete, and as long as we have your proper email address on file, HomeGuard will send you a follow-up customer satisfaction survey regarding the service preformed.

What do I do if something breaks down?
Your Home Protection Plan’s terms and conditions section lists an 800 number to report a claim. Remember to report your claim PRIOR to repair to be eligible for coverage.
What does it cost for me to get a repair done?
You will pay a service fee at the time of service. See your Home Protection Plan’s Terms and Conditions for your service fee amount. We have the lowest service fee in the industry only $50.00. Compare everyone else is $75 up to $120 per service call.
Who comes and fixes my problem?
Screened and approved contractors from our network of 25,000+ service providers conduct all repairs and services.
